NOURNEWS - Ayatollah Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, the president of Iran, in a decree on Monday, while appreciating the 10-year efforts of Admiral Ali Shamkhani during his tenure as the secretary of the Supreme National Security Council., appointed Ali Akbar Ahmadian to this position.
Admiral Dr. Ali Akbar Ahmadian was born in 1959 in the Babak city of Kerman province in a cultured family, and during his high school years, in Kerman city, he always had a distinguished academic rank in addition to his revolutionary activities.
At the same time as the victory of the revolution, he was accepted into the medical department of Tehran University, but with the beginning of the imposed war in 1980, he abandoned his studies and went through the military training as a militant Basij and Specialist Involution along with a group of Muslim students following the line of Imam (RA) in The fronts of Bostan, Dehlavieh and Sosangerd defended the revolution and the Islamic homeland.
In 1981, at the same time as the activities of the group known as Ashraf Dehghan in Bandar Abbas, the authorities of that time, martyred Haj Davood Karimi and martyred Kolahdooz were sent to Bandar Abbas along with 2 of their friends and they tried to end the violente actions of this group.
He participated in this operation at the beginning of Fath Al-Mobin operation, and after that, according to the successful records in the organization of the Hormozgan Army Corps, he was notified by the then Commander-in-Chief of the Army Corps, that he was responsible for organizing and coordinating and appointing the commanders and the command council of the 6th Army Corps Region in Hormozgan, Kerman provinces. and took charge of Sistan and Baluchistan and after that he was appointed as the head of staff of this region and during this period he participated in the Khyber, Wal-Fajr preliminary and Wal-Fajr 3 operations.
Since 1984, with the formation of 5 major IRGC regions and bases, he was appointed as the head of the headquarters of the 4th region and Noah's base.
This camp included the provinces of Fars, Bushehr, Kerman, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad, Hormozgan and Yazd along with the 41st Tharullah, 19th Fajr, 18th Al-Ghadir, Ahmed Ibn Musa, Amir al-Mu'minin, Kausar and Al-Mahdi divisions and participated in the Badr operation in this capacity. At the same time, he got acquainted with the work and operations in the maritime field.
In 1985, with the issuance of the historical decree of Imam Khomeini (RA) regarding the formation of the IRGC's three forces, he was appointed as the head of the IRGC's Naval Headquarters, and with this responsibility, he gained and earned more serious experiences in marine field by participating in the 3rd and 4th Karbala operations and being present in Khor Abdullah and the north of the Persian Gulf.
During the remaining period until the end of the inflicted war, he was among those who came up with the idea of creating a new and innovative navy, as well as naval countermeasures, and in many cases he personally played a role in countermeasures.
Sardar Ahmadian was also responsible for the design and implementation of the Great Martyrdom Naval Exercise and this is the main reason why he did not continue his education until the end of the holy defense and after the end of the war he pursued his studies in the field of dentistry part-time and was proud to receive a Ph.D.
After the end of the imposed war, Dr. Ahmadian was appointed as the replacement commander of the IRGC Navy (during the tenure of Admiral Shamkhani) and devoted himself to theorizing the great maritime experiences of the holy defense, especially against the American aggressor fleet, and was among the main architects of the IRGC's new and modern navy. The basis of the ideas of the revolution and also one of the first theorists was the idea of asymmetric defense.
During this period, he was in command of one of the military bases in two large exercises of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and after that he was appointed to the position of Commander of the Naval Forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.
In this responsibility, he had the opportunity to bring the idea of asymmetric defense, which had started in the Navy, to its peak and to establish basic capacities to deal with the threats of great powers in the IRGC Navy.
His continuous presence and progress in the IRGC Navy from the lowest level to the highest levels and a central role in the design, formation, expansion, equipping and training and specialized discipline of the force in addition to his mastery and skill in specialized subjects and excellence in specialized subjects such as navigation, missile, optimization the defense system of the armed forces in the sea field has left a lasting impression on him in the maritime history of the nation.
During this period, he was also in charge of the naval and air force exercises of the army and the IRGC in the role of Khatam 2 naval base and was encouraged by the commander in chief due to his ability to create unity and empathy between the armed forces and to create an effective unity of command.
Ahmadian was appointed by the supreme leader as the head of the IRGC Joint Staff in 2000.
His presence at this stage brought about a huge transformation in the administrative structure and organizational ability of the IRGC in different dimensions, and because of that he was encouraged many times by the leader of the revolution.
In addition to trying to generalize the asymmetric approach experienced in the navy to the entire IRGC, Ahmadian, in his responsibility of the Joint Staff of the IRGC, prepared a huge plan for the organizational transformation of the IRGC and after the approval of the Commander-in-Chief, he provided the basis for its implementation and in the execution of this plan, He showed a lot of effort in such a way that after 5 years, the Corps entered into a new phase and today, the organization's fragmentation, which was the legacy of the imposed wartime necessities, has been replaced by cohesion and discipline.
Taking advantage of his orderly mind and his creative power, this IRGC senior commander, with 22 years of management experience in various military departments, compiled and designed the 20-year political, economic, and cultural vision of the IRGC before entering the country and compiled the 10-year vision of the IRGC and shared it with the forces. It was compiled by an expert of the Corps.
This program has two 5-year phases and the implementation of the first phase in 2001 and the second 5-year phase, simultaneously with the implementation of the fourth 5-year program in the country, has played an important role in bringing coherence to the organization and optimal use of IRGC resources.
This perspective has been given to the relevant centers in the form of numerous books and specifying the priorities of each part of the IRGC, and to monitor the implementation of this program, the necessary forecasting mechanisms and hundreds of briefings have been held with the presence of Ahmadian.
No one in the IRGC has any doubts that this critical phase was followed by the scientific management, expertise, seriousness and disciplined mind of the head of the Joint Staff of the IRGC during his responsibility in planning.
Also, in continuation of the fundamental transformation of the Revolutionary Guards in order to continue this progress and institutionalize it in the training department of the Revolutionary Guards, General Ahmadian was responsible for the command of Imam Hossein University (AS) for nearly 2 years while maintaining his position and the fundamental transformation in this university established that he was encouraged by the Commander-in-Chief in this regard.
In addition to his doctorate in dentistry, he is a master's graduate in defense sciences and in the thesis stage of a doctorate in strategic management from the National Defense University, and is considered one of the best theoreticians in this field.
His presence at the head of the Strategic Center of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, in addition to showing the high power of General Ahmadian's strategic management, shows that the presence of a person with a very high experience and management ability will also enhance the position of this institute.
With the outstanding role he played in the establishment, evolution and equipping of the IRGC Navy, Ahmadian was appointed as the Chief of the Joint Staff of the IRGC in 2000 to create a fundamental change in the structure and organization of the IRGC.
By keeping the position of head of IRGC Joint Staff, he was responsible for commanding Imam Hossein University for nearly two years. Also, in 2007, Ahmadian assumed the position of head of the strategic center of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps by the order of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
The new head of the Strategic Center of the Revolutionary Guards is one of the commanders of the Revolutionary Guards, whom his name has always followed with development and progress in various sectors, especially the vision of the Revolutionary Guards.
In the past decade, after being appointed to the strategic center of Supreme Commander-in-Chief by the order of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ahmadian managed to propose the same innovation and creativity similar to his past experiences to fulfill the demand of the Leader of the Revolution for the complete realization of religious democracy And by relying on the huge capacities of the Iranian population in knowledge-based institutes, form the public organization "Pishran" to discover ideas and solutions for the country's strategic issues and challenges such as water, food, agriculture, etc. to support the final product that achieves huge achievements such as achieving the best and most advanced plan in the world in the field of agricultural productivity and reducing water consumption by 50 percent as well as other important achievements in the fields of health, medicine and energy and many other things by relying on the people, their capabilities and capacities has flourished and this achievement has led to progressions mentioned above. Dr. Ali Akbar Ahmadian also became a member of the Expediency Council on 29 September 2022 by the Supreme Leader of the Revolution.
