Nournews: Reza Seraj, the cultural and communications deputy and spokesman for the SNSC, who had served during the 8-year Iran-Iraq war, lost his life after undergoing tumor surgery on Saturday.

Seraj was also a member of the scientific board. The U.S. Treasury Department imposed sanctions on him last June.
