NOURNEWS- Iraqi security forces have announced the death of Abu Qassura, a military commander of the Islamic State terrorist organization in western Anbar.

The ISIS leader was killed along with four other elements during a bomb blast in western Iraq.

Iraqi security forces launched a large-scale operation yesterday under the command of a joint command to clean the western part of Anbar.

During the operation, a car carrying five ISIS operatives trying to hide in an abandoned building was chased.

The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a gathering of Islamic State militants in the western city of Al-Anbar.
