NOURNEWS - During the past few days, some American media have reported the conversation between the American officials and the diplomats of the Islamic Republic of Iran by publishing news which none of the Washington and Tehran authorities have confirmed yet.
In the news published by Western mainstream media, a list of agreements made between Iran and the US is also mentioned, almost none of the mentioned subjects are new issues and have always been mentioned in the messages transmitted by the intermediaries between the two countries.
The numerous visits between the high officials of Iran, Oman and Qatar in recent weeks have somehow increased attention to the unconfirmed news of the American media.
Of course, the authorities of Qatar and Oman have also made statements that emphasizes on their intermediary role, at least in the matter of the exchange of prisoners between Iran and the US and the release of Iran's blocked financial resources in foreign countries like South Korea.
The remarkable point in the new news movement by the American media, more than the content of the reports published by them, is, the concealment of Washington's previous claims about the lack of relevance of continuing diplomacy with Iran after last fall's disturbances in our country is behind the news about Tehran and Washington reaching new agreements.
While Iran has always and in different circumstances emphasized the necessity of continuing the dialogue to reach an agreement with the aim of lifting sanctions and has never deviated from this strategic approach, the flow of western media at the current stage is as if the initiative is in the hands of the western side and it always was!
It is very clear that after Iran's active and effective political, security, regional and legal measures in continuing to cooperate with the IAEA, managing internal disturbances and removing unprecedented tension in regional relations, now it is the western side that has no choice but to accompany Iran's initiatives. And they are trying to return to the track of the past, which is the result of relatively complete agreements in New York last September between the Iranian side and the European coordinator.
In the meantime, and despite the sinuous and political behavior of the International Atomic Energy Agency, under the shadow of the professional and diligent actions of diplomats and technical experts of our country in interaction with the agency, two cases out of the four alleged cases of the agency have been closed and the path of technical and legal cooperation between the two sides has been closed. The obstacle of political excuses is somewhat removed.
Westerners' disappointment in the possibility of putting pressure on the Islamic Republic through the abuse of internal disturbances, as well as flourishment of the 13th government's neighborhood diplomacy strategy and especially the beginning of political relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia, which complements Iran's regional policies, are all very strong reasons that It could have caused the western side to get out of the illusion of the effectiveness of the policy of increasing pressure to score points.
Although none of the officials of Iran and the US have so far confirmed the news published by the media about the beginning of talks and reaching an agreement, but the detailed analysis of the new conditions that were mentioned, the issue of the formation of a kind of mediated dialogue between Tehran and Washington, especially on the subject It makes possible the release of prisoners from both sides and the removal of blockages from Iran's financial resources.
Of course, as the American media have speculated, one cannot be optimistic about the rapid formation of an agreement on the issues related to Iran's nuclear issue, but the expression of this issue by two reliable American media outlets, which are known for their connection with the American political and security apparatuses, shows that the White House seeks to convey positive signs to change the course of the past few months and return to the negotiating table, which Iran has never left.
The developments in the upcoming days, which probably based on the statements of Mohammad-Reza Farzin, the Governor of the Central Bank of Iran and Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman, with the beginning of the release of Iran's blocked financial resources in some countries, will be able to gain more momentum, will make it clear to what extent the direction of the changes depends on the speculations of political circles and Media inside and outside the country will be aligned.
