Nournews: The funeral ceremony of 300 unknown martyrs was carried out on Friday with the enthusiastic presence of grateful people in Tehran. Out of the 300 remains, 200 will be buried in other provinces, and 100 will be buried in Tehran.
The martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra is named the Day of Unknown Martyrs in Iran, and every year, the pure bodies of excavated martyrs are carried in a funeral procession on this day.
During the imposed war of Iraq against Iran (September 1980 to August 1988), about 197,377 individuals were martyred.
