Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi met with the Incumbent President of Lebanon in Beirut on Tuesday.

Also, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi met and held talks with Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Youssef Raji during his one-day visit to Lebanon.

Iranian Foreign Minister arrived at Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport on Tuesday morning, where he was officially welcomed by Lebanese officials.

In his first speeches upon his arrival in Beirut, Araghchi said, "We support the independence and territorial integrity of Lebanon. No country has the right to interfere in Lebanon's internal affairs."

"Iran will support Lebanon against the Zionist regime's occupation," he said, stressing that, of course, it means that a friendly country supports its friends in Lebanon, and in no way means interfering in Lebanese affairs.

"Relations between Iran and Lebanon are very good, according to the Leader's remarks. The Lebanese nation has stood by Iran in difficult and difficult circumstances," he said.

Araghchi: Iran will support Lebanon against Israel occupation

Iran supports the independence and territorial integrity of Lebanon. No country has the right to interfere in Lebanon's internal affairs, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said in Beirut on Tuesday.

During his one-day visit to Lebanon, Araghchi is scheduled to meet with the Lebanese president, parliament speaker, and prime minister, as well as his Lebanese counterpart.

The issues of bilateral relations between Iran and Lebanon and regional developments, especially the situation in Palestine and the continued aggression of the Zionist regime against Lebanon and Syria, will be among the most important topics of discussion with high-ranking Lebanese officials during this trip.

Earlier Sunday night, Iran's Foreign Minister paid a visit to Cairo to hold talks with Egyptian authorities, including Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and his Egyptian counterpart, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Organization (IAEA) Rafael Grossi and also met with Egyptian elites and a number of Iranians residing in the country.
